The Office of Commonwealth Libraries, including the State Library of Pennsylvania, is located in the Forum Building (607 South Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17120).

The State Library of Pennsylvania's operating hours for the public are Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Office hours for Office of Commonwealth Libraries staff are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Office is closed on all state holidays and in cases of inclement weather.
