Pennsylvania Public Library Accounting Manual
The purpose of the Pennsylvania Public Library Accounting Manual is to
provide guidance for public library board members and library staff who do not have accounting backgrounds on how to establish accounting practices and appropriate
internal controls. It illustrates basic accounting principals in layman's terms and provides instructions for finding online resources.
The manual’s target audience is small, nonprofit libraries. Larger
libraries may also benefit from the accounting policies, procedures, and
processing methods discussed in the manual.
Pennsylvania Citizens for Better Libraries
