Library Board Training and Resources

Public library boards are charged with the strategic, long-term success of their libraries.

The Office of Commonwealth Libraries (OCL) offers library board members with many opportunities for continuing education through in-person workshops and online webinars.

Announcements about in-person workshops and webinars are made on OCL's email distribution lists (including ones for library board members) and in the Compendium.

WebJunction Support

OCL also provides library staff and board members with free online education through WebJunction. 

WebJunction offers live and archived webinars, courses, and content on library technologies, management, and services.
