What is a Makerspace STEMlab?
Quite simply, a Makerspace is a place to make! Design, prototype and build. If you can dream it, we'll help you make it!

Where is the Makerspace STEMlab?
The State Library Makerspace is located at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, near their auditorium on the ground floor. This location is only temporary while we are building a new Makerspace in the Forum Building behind the State Capitol building in Harrisburg. The address is 300 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120

When is the Makerspace STEMlab open?
The STEMlab is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19. During normal operating hours, the Makerspace is open for classes or by appointment Wednesday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Additional days and hours are possible with advanced notice! Give us a call and we'll try to accommodate your schedule.

How do I register for a class?
Email: ra-edmakerspace@pa.gov
Classes are free and registration is easy! We will ask you for your students name, age, and emergency contact information.

Can I come to certain classes or do I have to attend every class?
You are welcome to sign up for the classes you'd like. Feel free to contact us if you have more questions!
