The State Library of Pennsylvania is excited to welcome visitors back inside the temporary location at the Keystone Building on the Atrium Level, 400 North Street, Harrisburg.
Starting October 12, 2021, the library will be adding hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. The new hours will be: Tuesday from 10 AM to 4 PM, Wednesday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM, except holidays.
The library will expect staff and visitors to follow guidance from the CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, including use of facial coverings and physical distancing.
There will be limited occupancy, regular cleaning, and distanced or contactless services.
- Reservations are necessary for researchers who need to request materials be made available and should be booked at least 5 days in advance.
- Reservations are necessary for people who want to use computers or microfilm machines.
Virtual services continue to be available Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5 PM. Patrons may access online collections at any time with your library card.
