Library’s Law Library Continues to be Temporarily Closed for Renovations.
State Library of Pennsylvania announced the temporary closing of its Law
Library in June 2014 due to renovations of its historic ceiling and lighting
fixtures. While this project has been completed, a 2nd phase
to renovate the woodwork and electrical wiring is scheduled for Fall 2015. This phase should be complete in Spring 2016.
service from the Law and Government Publications materials will continue to be
available during the renovations as staff will respond to questions and
requests from the Main Reading Room of the Library. Law Library staff is located just inside the
Main Reading Room in Alcove 20 and can still be reached by phone (717-787-3273)
or email firstname.lastname@example.org).
State Library’s Main and Genealogy/Local History Reading Rooms are open
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the second
Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Come visit to check
